My Birth Work Journey

Where It All Began...

I have always felt called to birth work since my own mother had her first homebirth when I was in the 6th grade back in 2012. I grew up the oldest of 9 children in a Catholic family. I was constantly around pregnant women, midwives, doulas, birth, and newborns. I believe my life experiences have prepared me for my doula journey.

My Education

I started my doula education back in October 2022 at Birth Arts International and between having babies of my own and trusting God's timing, I was able to complete earn my certification in 2026.

What's Next For Me?

My goal is to one day catch babies by becoming a Certified Professional Midwife and help serve families even further. It has been my constant dream since being introduced to the homebirth world back in 6th grade to help bring babies into the world. As St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta once said, "I am a little pencil in the hand of God, who is sending a love letter to the world."
